Joshua (Deut. 31)

When Moses died the Lord spoke to Joshua, the son of Nun, thus: "Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, get up, go over the Jordan with all Israel to the land which I gave to them. I will be with you. Only you must obey the laws which Moses commanded you. You shall not part from the law, but shall meditate on them day and night so that you observe them."

Then Joshua commanded his officers: "Go all over the camp and tell the people, 'Prepare your food; for within three days you will cross the Jordan to possess the land which the Lord gave you.'"

They answered, "All that you command, we will do. As we obeyed Moses, so will we obey you. Anyone who rebels against your command shall be put to death; only be strong and of good courage."

Then Joshua became the leader of  Israel after Moses.
