The Rooster

   Roosters are famous for their unusual knack of making simple everyday situations absolutely incomprehensible. Discussions with a rooster are brief and pointless - both the Rooster and his opponent always end up in a quandary.

Roosters will never make it as diplomats or salespersons. Overly critical, they can be embarrassingly outspoken and tactless. On the other hand, they are ideal as town criers, auctioneers, market vendors, or hosts of local gossip shows.

In business, the male Rooster has high aspirations, but is too proud to admit failure. Mister Rooster persists with his outdated policies and believes that his business is on an upswing despite the records that state otherwise.

    Mister Rooster, however, can exercise his uncanny vision and foresight in other aspects, one of which is sex. He dreams and fantasizes about sex nearly as fre­quently as he talks about it. If there was a way of videotaping his thoughts, the film will end up as a full-length, X-rated movie in vivid, if not lurid, color!

Mister Rooster's female partner has her own idiosyncracies. Like him, Miss Rooster complicates matters until she confuses everyone. She even bewilders herself when she becomes introspective.

The female Rooster though, is most noted for being ultra fussy. A meticu­lous worker, Miss critical Rooster is inclined to polish her pots, pans and burners. Every nook and corner of her basement, pantry and 'bodega' is puri­fied with either alcohol or disinfectant.

Despite some of their rather weird characteristics, Roosters are loving per­sons, in their own peculiar way. As spouses, they cackle a lot but they can be attentive as well. As friends, they are
